I think you're okay. Hopefully USCIS made a note in their system when your application was first sent and you just needed to correct something. Did you ask your lawyer what he thinks will happen?

Why I said great mistake filing I 485 in EB3 COZ,
1) I have seen many people who has PD in 2006 has already received GC last year
2) I read one of the forum ( I guess it is Murthy forum), it was a little advise that if you have an opportunity go for HIGH, in my case EB2 and file I 485, if in case it get rejected or so then they are suggesting to file EB3.
3) History says after 2000 it self dates are current in 2 times one early 2000 and other one recently 2007. Look at the mass filing in 2007 and you can imagine same in early 2000.
I have been seeing EB3 at 2001 from past 3 years, all I see is May 2001 to Nov 2001 (of course it went up for small time)
And on different reply,
Attorney said she will file porting when I get a chance to file I 485 under EB2. In this economy I do not know how long I can stick to the employer.

Yeah, definitely it looks like they are having problem only with certain states. Before this happened, I noticed that in Feb it allowed to transfer maximum of only $1000 to India in once transaction. Earlier the limit was some $5000 per transaction.
May have to shift to ICICI now. How is money2india e-Transfer? Hopefully their ACH direct debit is still operational. Is the service good and reliable?
Does it differ from state to state? IDK..BTW I am in CA if that matters to SBI :)

I am also interested in this topic. My wife is working curently using OPT. But, she is waiting for EAD also. So, once 485 EAD comes, she will be in similar situation.
Lawyer has suggested using 485 EAD once it comes.
Anyway, for travelling, AP has to be used. Once you travel on AP and come back, you cannot continue working using OPT. You have to use 485 EAD. So, it is better to switch to 485 EAD to avoid confusion.
I am planning to keep her on OPT till Dec 31. It will make our tax filing easier next year. From January, she can switch to 485 EAD and pay social security tax.
Let me know if you can some concrete info on this.

Hello all, im new to the boards and a photography hobbiest as well as doing photography for my H.S. Yearbook class as head photographer. I currently use a sony cybershot 7.2 MP camera as it is good as a pocket camera and enough settings to change for quality pictures. (Which our yearbook has had the best compared to the other schools since i have been there lol) Anyways, I am now getting more and more into photography and wanted to persue it as a side hobby but i want a diffrent camera for higher end pictures.
Im looking for an DSLR with at least 6mp preferably by canon i think for the lenses and accessories.
I also want something that is upgradable and longlasting for even proffesional photography. Anything no more then about 1200 would work so i can save up for it in a few months since im still a teen. I will post my favorit picture i have taken so far and have edited to see what you guys think.(may be a little blurry do to small file for dial up speed) Thank you for any advise. Cdw06

Contact the USCIS Ombudsman's office directly. http://www.dhs.gov/ximgtn/programs/editorial_0497.shtm
If you search online you should be able to find the telephone number for the main switchboard at DHS in Washington and then ask for the ombudsmna's office. You will probably need to submit your problem in writing with supporting documentation. Weve had a problem where USCIS made an error and have been dealing with the ombudsman's office for over a year. Patience is needed and followup on a regular basis. Eventually the problem will be escalated to senir USCIS staff in Washington for resolution. Be tenacious!

I don't think there is any clause related to NON-RIR or RIR or PERM labor when it comes to 7th year extension according to yates memo. Once your application has been filed 365 days before and if you have a case number assigned you can use that case number to show USCIS that your labor was indeed pending for 365 days. Since you already approved for 7th year extension and looking for 8th year extension you have no problem and with the new employer you can get 8th year extension plus H1 transfer together.

Stock options work like this
If a company gives you 100 shares at 10$ each that means you have the option to buy them by the expiry date at 10$ each.
So if within the expiry date they reach to 15$ you can buy them at 10$ and sell at 15$ getting a net profit of 5$ per share ( 500$ )
In your case the share price is below what you will have to buy the shares at . So no use. You will be losing money in case you decide to sell them.
Although if you think the share price is going to rise in the future you can buy them and hold them long term until the share price rises above 30 and you make some good money .

Assuming the insurance company does not reimburse us for 485 medical exams, then can we atleast seek tax rebate on this expenditure? In other words, are the medical expenses incurred for 485 filing deductible at the time of tax filing?

Cake - that is by design. Place the contents of your grid inside a ViewBox control (WPF only I believe). Once you have done that, you will see the contents of your grid scale as its height gets altered.

There is no need for you to have an actual copy of the I-140. I am assuming that you want to have the documents to prevent the current employer doing any 'harm' - intentional or otherwise to your case.
AC21 states that as long as the 140 has been certified, the current employer cannot do any thing if the employee leaves.
I am NOT sure about this next point, but even if the 140 is revoked by the employer the LC and PD stay valid.
Make sure you have the receipt #s, and check the status on the USCIS website. Once 140 is certified, you are golden.

Kirupa, thanks but when I started a new empty xaml file to test your code I got quite a few errors. I'm using the June 2.5 Preview so I don't know if that's the cause of the errors but I've attached a screenshot with the code and errors.
